Went to KL last week. Stayed over at Backpacker's Travellers Inn. Realli comfy and cosy place. Got to know Aason, the innkeeper. Realli humurous & cheeky fella lol. He told me alot of funny stuff.. including the story ofhis ex-colleague whois always going "Yo! Cheers man!" Muahaha. The inn is cosy, wif a quite "homeish" feel to it.And it has its own rooftop bar! Most impressive. Ho i reallli like the rooftop bar. It has a very bohemian feeling to it. Chillin out at a rooftop in a city in the grisp of nite. Cool and humid and a shadow drapped city skyline. Pple hustling to and fro, vehicles honkin on the vibrant streets below. Haven amidst the hustle and bustle of a urban environment. If only they were blastin some Depeche Mode on the rooftop. Strangelove and Tiger beer at Rm$5 anyone?
Got a shock that Big Breakfast is served wif chilli sauce over in KL. Seems they only provide salt n peppa when u ask for it. Quite an experience actualli lol. Aniwae, ye have been warned..
Went to Bangsar Village to look for Joe and AhChang. Have nt seen them since they got posted back to M'sia. Never expect to bump into Yan & Grace there. They were also on vacation and i heard from them tat Anthony will be arriving on the day i leave. Such coincidence. I have to say tat Joe's driving is less den ideal and even though he's been there for a couple of months alreadi, he still doesn't know his way around. Lol hopeless fella..
Somehow, the trip turned more shoppin oriented den the originally intended fotography plan. Visited Sungei Wang and Midvalley and spend spend spend.. Bought lotsa stuff and busted my own budget but realli damn shiok! Haha. I found and bought an old Pulp album "His and hers" while Nur found a Radiohead album Japanese edition. 3D/2N is too short a stay and before we knew it, we were on our way back alreadi. Watched The Cure and Placebo dvds on our way back..cool. Almost didn't recognize Robert Smith in A Forest MV wifout his trademark hair and eyeliner. He looked so young den..
Backpacker's Travellers Inn, highly recommended! Situated at Jalan Sultan No. 60 Its conveniently located near City Centre and its walking distance from Pudu Raya bus station.. And the duck rice there is heavenly! Gogogo.
